Bethesda is situated a short walking distance away from the beautiful sea front of Torquay, the harbour and the lower end of the main shopping area.

The home is a converted gentleman's residence built in 1860, the stables of which have been turned into garages. There is a sun lounge with platform lift access to the beautiful garden.

The building has recently undergone major repair work to accommodate up to 23 residents.

All rooms, whether single or double, have en-suite facilities of at least a toilet and hand basin, some others have a bath or shower. All rooms are fully accessible for the less ambulant. We have installed an additional lift and raised floors to the newly refurbished dining room and kitchen.

There is excellent support from the local doctor and district nurse, and a chiropodist and hairdresser visit regularly.
