We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Registered Care Manager to oversee and manage a 73 bed multi service site based in Nottingham.
The main responsibilities will be to effectively manage the day to day management of the care homes and associated services, ensure that they are compliant to meet the required regulations, provide leadership to all staff and ensure the best use of resources available to meet the needs of the residents.
Working with your staff and others within Abbeyfield, you will also encourage involvement of relatives, friends and the local community to support the home. As the Registered Care Manager, you must demonstrate a strong commitment to making time for older people and have a proven track record of providing high quality care in a person-cantered way. In addition, being able to demonstrate how you will bring to life Abbeyfields values of caring, openness, honesty and respect.
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate proven experience of working in a care home setting as a Manager, Deputy Manager or a similar role in the care industry. You will have a relevant qualification (NVQ/QCF L5 or equivalent). You must have relevant experience of managing and supervising staff and volunteers; planning rotas; understand budgets, managing finances and funding streams and working with local agencies to ensure the homes maintains full occupancy.
