Male LD Support Worker – Supported Living - North Wembley - £17191 per annum

Our client a highly regarded care provider that specialises in delivering quality care to the LD/Autism sector is now looking to recruit experienced Support Workers who have a background within the LD/Autism care sector. Ideally you will have already achieved your level 2 NVQ/QCF or equivalent as a minimum qualification. You will be well supported and receive training for this challenging position. This is a full time permanent position of 38 hours weekly. You will need to have person centred care experience, have excellent communication skills both verbally and written and have high standards of care.

This job role offers a real variety of duties within a Supported Living environment where every day is different and where you will make a positive contribution to service users everyday life. You will need to be well organised, well-motivated and have an encouraging positive approach to you job.

This varied and very rewarding role includes working closely with service users, encouraging independence and motivation and self-care. Your duties will include personal care where needed, assisting with meal preparation, housework, assisting with service user budget planning, have experience with person centred care, working with external agencies, families, and other staff members. You will need to be flexible and be able to work shifts and some weekends.
