Health & Social Care Training Manager - South-East Area. £35-40k per annum + car + Laptop and generous holiday entitlement.
Our highly successful Extra Care client is expanding and is now looking to recruit an experienced Health & Social Care Training Manager who is based around the South East of England. This exciting and varied senior training position will cover mainly East London, Essex, Bedford and occasionally the South coast. You will receive excellent training and ongoing support and head up the existing experienced training team where you will manage and monitor the other trainers ensuring high quality training is delivered to all staff throughout the company. You will be well supported by a friendly and experienced senior management team and you will be home based.
You will need to have already achieved your QCF level 3 as a minimum, Train The Trainer or the Award in Education & Training (previously known as PTLLS), be a car driver, have excellent IT skills and Power Point experience, have a good understanding of a training matrix and the updating of the document.
Our client is looking for a cheerful, confident, professional and highly motivated experienced Training Manager who has the experience of delivering training to multiple sites. You will have the ability to write and deliver new and exciting courses relevant to the health & social care sector and be able to plan ahead ensuring all new or changes to legislation are included in all courses and updates.
There will sometimes be over overnight stays away from home with this varied senior role. You will also manage 2 existing experienced Trainers and deliver high quality training to Extra Care services in East London, Essex and Bedford areas. There are also 2 x Extra Care Services on the South coast that you may need to travel to if necessary but this would be quite rare.
You will need excellent management and leadership skills, have an enthusiastic and positive approach ensuring your Trainers feel well motivated, supported and prepared with delivering courses while also keeping all administration up to date and recording staff training. You will also work closely with the Registered Managers so you have a good overall picture of training needs in all the services. The client base with this care provider includes people over 55 years of age who require help and support and personal care, Mental Health & LD service users, Palliative Care, MS, Parkinsons and other illnesses so a background regarding training experience and skills covering these needs will be an advantage.
Excellent knowledge of the CQC regs and a genuine passion for delivering the highest standard of Training is required. This is a permanent, full time position with a very experienced quality focused care provider who are expanding their services further.
