Extra Care Manager – Bedford - £25-30k + career progression and a brand new complex and friendly environment to work
Our quality focused client is expanding its services and is now seeking an experienced and quality driven Extra Care Manager for an exciting and lovely brand new Extra Care complex in Bedford.
This is a wonderful opportunity to join a friendly, supportive and highly regarded care provider who are busy delivering high quality services to Extra Care customers throughout the South. This brand new Extra Care Service is due to open shortly and you will be given excellent training and ongoing support by a very experienced and supportive senior management team.
You will need to have achieved your QCF level 5 or working towards this and a strong background in this care sector or Domiciliary Care is necessary. Your role will include care and staff management, staff supervisions and appraisals, covering visits and delivering care as and when required, mentoring and monitoring staff ensuring they deliver high quality care. You will need to have experience with working to budgets and be able to provide housing related support and advice to customers within the scheme. You will also carry out risk assessments, person centred planning, reviews and build lasting relationships with external agencies and care managers. Your role will include the recruitment of staff and the management of staff so strong leaderships skills are required.
