Team Leader for 1:1 Complex Care package in Wallingford

Radis Complex Care service is looking to recruit a Team Leader for a male living in the family home in Wallingford, South Oxfordshire.
The successful candidate will work on a rotational shift basis, including weekends and evenings, within a team and be a role model to other staff while providing ongoing support the client including full assistance with personal care needs, tracheostomy care, ventilation, PEG, epilepsy, catheter and bowel care.
All training is provided by Radis.
As the senior member of the team, and you will demonstrate professionalism and enthusiasm to enable the client to plan and achieve his goals and wishes. You will be responsible for Rota planning and co-ordination, mentor and induct new staff as well as coach, supervise and support the ongoing development of the team of support workers in place. We are seeking a Team Leader with experience of providing person centered support, ideally to people with complex/clinical needs or other disabilities, who will be professional, patient and calm under pressure.
You will be a strong team player with the ability to lead by example, nurture and develop talent. Holding a Level 3 qualification or equivalent, you will demonstrate an ability to use your own initiative, particularly regarding daily guidance of support staff. Experience/knowledge of supporting people in their own home, above all you will take responsibility for the quality of care and support delivered to your client. We are looking for a motivated, dynamic and professional person with great interpersonal skills.
You will have strong communication skills, some leadership/management experience, be physically fit and ideally have at least 1 years’ experience at Senior Support Worker level, as well as experience of working with people who have complex disabilities.
