Job Description

Care Operations & Compliance Manager – South of England - £40k + Car + Laptop & Mobile

This is an excellent and very exciting opportunity to join an expanding Extra Care Provider who are now seeking to recruit an experienced Operations/Regional Care Manager who has a good background within the Domiciliary or Extra Care sector.

Our client is a very well established and highly regarded care provider and they are now looking to recruit another Ops & Compliance manager to their senior management team.

You will need excellent knowledge of the CQC regs, have experience of CQC inspections and with working closely with CQC inspectors and care commissioning teams. A cheerful, approachable and friendly approach to your job is vital so excellent communication skills are required, verbal, written and IT. You will need to be a car driver as this rewarding and varied senior role will involve driving to Extra Care Schemes around East London, the South coast and the Bedfordshire area; duties will be shared with another senior manager so travelling to the South coast and staying overnight maybe only every 2-3 months? But flexibility will of course be required.

Each extra care service has their own manager so your role will be to ensure each manager and staff receive full ongoing support with CQC compliance, staff recruitment and staff disciplinarys, liaising and meeting with local authority commissioners and senior managers regarding contracts and any issues that require attention.

You will need to be a positive, encouraging and motivating manager who has an enthusiastic approach and has a genuine passion for delivering very high standards of quality care throughout. Loyalty and commitment to this role is essential and you will be well supported by the friendly and approachable senior management team and receive excellent training from the in-house trainers.

Ideally you will have already achieved your level 5 in leadership & Management, RMA, NVQ 4 or equivalent, but experience and knowledge of Extra Care and Domiciliary Care is required. An excellent salary and package is on offer to the right person who can work as part of a team but who can also lead a team in a strong and determined manner ensuring the end outcome can be achieved.
