Senior Carer or Field Care Supervisor – Redditch - £16-20k + bonus + car + benefits

We are a busy, quality focused Domiciliary Care provider and are expanding our services. We are now looking to recruit an experienced Senior carer or Community Care supervisor for our Redditch area. You will need a full clean driving licence and have good knowledge of the Redditch area. Ideally you will have already achieved your NVQ 3 or equivalent and have at least 2 years care supervisory experience. Good awareness of the CQC regs and care standards and a genuine passion for high quality care is required.

You will need excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, good IT skills and have an enthusiastic and encouraging approach to your job. We are looking for a care supervisor who is approachable, friendly, cheerful, positive and well- motivated and who can recognise training needs in staff and who is very supportive of staff.

You will be required to cover on call duties on a rota basis, conduct staff supervisions, hold team meetings, carry out risk assessments, assessments, reviews, personal care, liaise with care managers, families, external agencies, NHS/GP services. Good experience with person centred care planning is required, carrying out spot checks, monitoring staff and mentoring staff ensuring quality care is delivered to the standards required and ensuring excellent communication is given between the community, staff and the office and management at all times.

You will work within the community and in the office ensuring all admin regarding service users and staff files are up to date and comply with company policies and procedures and CQC.
