Domiciliary Care Manager – Newham area - £30-37k per annum

Our highly regarded client, an expanding care provider based in the Newham area is now looking for an experienced Domiciliary Care Manager who has achieved their level 5 or equivalent to take the business to the next level. You will need to have a proven track record within domiciliary care and at management level. Our client is looking for a manager who has excellent knowledge of the CQC regs and standards and who has exceptionally high standards of care and is passionate about quality care delivery and customer service. This is a well-established business with a full team of highly dedicated staff who work together well creating a happy and warm environment.

This is a full time permanent position where you will develop the business further by expanding your community care team ensuring you give excellent support to your staff by developing them further. You will need to be very approachable, enthusiastic, well-motivated and have a positive energetic approach to your job where you will need to be encouraging and be able to work to deadlines, have excellent IT skills, staff recruitment experience and staff retention skills. You will need to be a car owner/driver for this position. Excellent communication skills are needed both verbally and written, experience with planning care staff rota’s, managing on call rota’s with your team, liaising with service user families and NHS services is also required along with strong leadership skills and management skills. Experience with CQC inspections is needed and an ability to prioritise an ever changing fast moving work load is required.

Ideally you will have good knowledge of the area, have good relationships with Care Managers, Local Authorities, External Agencies, CQC, etc. This is an exciting opportunity to join a quality focused expanding care provider where you will receive excellent training and full ongoing support from an experienced senior management team.  An excellent salary is on offer for the right candidate.
