Cook Required - £8.90 per hour week days and £9.47 per hour weekends.

Locations - Abbots & Kings Langley

Hours: 16 hours a week including lunches and, teas as well as weekends and bank holidays plus cover for absence/annual leave and is subject to a DBS check

We are seeking a Cook for our houses in Abbots & Kings Langley - which are not-for-profit, friendly, supported sheltered properties (not a care home).

The successful candidate will have a passion for cooking and creating exciting meals from fresh ingredients, appropriate for the residents.  You should have the ability to multi-task, and be calm under pressure.  Some flexibility with hours will be required to attend training, courses and meetings.

We try and make mealtimes as sociable and enjoyable as possible so are looking for someone who has the desire to make a difference to the lives of older people and is looking for a role that is more than just a job.  You should be highly organised, adaptable and able to work alone and take an active part in arranging activities and interests for the residents.

Level 2 Food Hygiene essential
