Care Review & Assessment Officer – London Borough of Newham - £17-20k + travel allowance

Our quality focused client is now looking to recruit a Care Review & Assessment Officer for their well -established expanding busy Domiciliary Care service based in the London Borough of Newham. This is a very exciting and rewarding new job role where you will need to be qualified to an NVQ 3 level or equivalent, be a car owner/driver, have excellent communication skills both verbally and written with excellent IT skills and knowledge. Experience of working in the domiciliary care sector is required, knowledge of the regs and care standards is also necessary; ideally you will already be working as a senior.

Your role will be to work in the community meeting with service users in their own homes talking and writing person centred care plans, risk assessments, reviews and assessments as and when required ensuring all service user information is current and adheres to the CQC regulations, care standards and company policies and procedures. This job role is very much focusing on quality assurance as our client has high standards of care. You will need to be passionate about quality care, well-motivated, have a positive and enthusiastic approach to your work.

Our client is looking for an approachable, friendly, professional senior staff member to work as part of a dedicated and loyal team who all share the same ethos which is to deliver the very best in care to service users and who can communicate with coordinators, field care supervisors, care managers, families and external agencies ensuring all are well briefed of any changes to care.

It is essential that you are a car owner/driver as you will be visiting service users in the Newham area, travel allowance will be paid along with an excellent salary, training and ongoing support.
