Care Coordinator - Domiciliary Care - Newham Area - £22-23k per annum
We are now seeking an experienced Care Coordinator who has a good background in planning weekly care staff rota's in the Domiciliary Care Sector. This is a well -established busy, quality driven care provider who is based in Newham.
You will be joining a friendly, experienced and supportive team of coordinators with management and admin support. You will need experience of liaising with care managers, GP services, external agencies, care staff, families and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Excellent IT skills are required and you will need to be a car owner/driver.
Ideally you will have already achieved your NVQ 3 or equivalent and have experience of carrying out staff supervisions, holding team meetings and managing a team of care staff. You will also need to be able to prioritise a fast moving and ever changing workload, work to deadlines and have a cheerful, enthusiastic approach to your job.

Attention to detail is very important with planning care staff rota's as you will be making changes to the rota's regarding annual leave, staff sickness, training cover and other staff absences. You will also take on new care packages and allocate the right care staff to each care package ensuring continuity of staff and expertise regarding the care and support for each service user.
